Annabelle is the Founder of ALR Art Advisory, where she advises private collectors on building and refining thoughtful collections of modern and contemporary art. She works closely with clients on acquisitions, collection strategy, market analysis, and long-term stewardship, providing tailored guidance grounded in both scholarship and market expertise.

Prior to founding ALR Art Advisory, Annabelle played a key role at Agopian Inc., where she helped develop and manage significant private collections. Working closely with collectors, she advised on acquisitions, conducted market research, analyzed artists and artworks, prepared client presentations, and supported every stage of the collecting process. Her experience at Agopian deepened her understanding of the contemporary art market and strengthened her ability to identify exceptional opportunities while helping clients build cohesive, meaningful collections.

Before joining Agopian Inc., Annabelle worked as Assistant to Barbara Gladstone at Gladstone Gallery in New York. In this role, she managed administrative operations, prepared sales offers, coordinated client viewings, assisted with exhibition planning and installation, and worked closely with museums, institutions, and private collectors to facilitate loans, consignments, and appraisals. Annabelle began her career at Christie’s in the American Art department, where she gained a strong foundation in connoisseurship, valuation, and the auction market.

Annabelle is an active member of the Junior Associates at the Museum of Modern Art and the Apollo Circle at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She also serves on the Center for Public Service Council at Tulane University.

Annabelle holds a BA in Art History from Tulane University and a Master’s Degree in Modern and Contemporary Art and the Market from Christie’s Education.
